Moze
Previously mole was suggested as capturing the double agent sense while the connection to gig was not obvious.
What's the basis for moze?
Mole has many definitions but none seem to fit with gig.
Well MOZE is to gig.

Indeed mose is to gig (cloth), but how does the agent-agent fit here?
I took the letters to be the symbols of chemical agents with the additional definition of Gig.

You may be right with your mole which could be a double agent, but Gig?

I won't be losing any sleep over the clue.
a gig is also a job. so mole would appear to be correct
