I know some of you are going to tell me its a question and answer site but surely asking over half a quiz and most of them easy is going a bit far

On another quiz today they have asked for over 20 of a quiz with 50 answers

Loads of time to go on all of them
While ever we answer they will ask but lets try to get things back to how they used to be asking the harder questions nearer the closing date

Or is it just me having a bad day!

Oh careful smouse I had a little go at someone yesterday for asking for answers but they gave no clues, was a light hearted nudge and was promptly told my remark was inane.

I expect it to happen but I had been seeing the posts keep going on and on with more and more questions from more and more quizzes and so feel better for getting it off my chest.

I love the site dont get me wrong and know whats easy to some arent to others but 75% of the ones today are so easy to google

it should be a rule that the closing date be displayed along
with the questions, it won't stop people giving answers
but it will make people aware of the closing date, it happens on the Rainbow quiz, & so far on Terrible Two's &
Time & Motion, so why not on all other quiz's, i'm with you all the way , smouse

very true I have 3 quizzes on the go and with lots of time am not yet temtped to ask for any help just keep nibbling away at them.

I answered a few for Jack but stopped as there appeared to be little effort in finding their own answers, was asking the same questions when they had been answered in previous posts and never any thanks.

Here here!! I spend ages beavering away at several quizzes which have closing dates three months ahead and visit this site only to find someone has already requested answers. What satisfaction do they get from just copying the answers!! If they need help why not ask nearer the closing date when I am sure people will be only too pleased to help.

I've argued this before. Some of the 'questions' are easily googled and some people just don't seem to make the effort.I'm not a computer expert by any means but if someone knows how to find and use this site surely they can use google. Just don't get me started on the time thing.........

As you say smouse, it sometimes makes you wonder, there have been postings for quizzes that have several months to run and the answers are there to find at the click of a button. I'll happily accept (and give) any help I can, but sometimes it seems that some people cannot even be bothered to make the effort to try to do the quiz by themselves relying on the good nature of others to do it for them

Hooray! It's so nice not to be alone! The amount of times I've thought 'Use Google' or 'Get another hobby!'. If I can't find more than 3 or 4 answers, I give up - I certainly wouldn't ask for 50% of the answers - in 20-odd separate posts!

sit here saying use the anagram site, use google, use this, use that but it happened so many times yesterday I eventually had to say it

Again thanks for the support it wont stop it but it makes me realise I am not the only one who gets a bit riled at times

I'm frequently tempted not to answer these couch potatoes, but there's always someone who will.
I find it hard to just say Get lost. So I suggest a code understood by the regulars on here - it could be

ILSEAT

meaning "I'll Let Someone Else Answer This"

I agree wholeheartedly. As a quiz compiler (it's only just gone on sale and has 2 and a half months to run) I'm a little dismayed to see someone has already posted 12 (yes 12!!) questions for others to answer instead of spending a little more time trying to work them out.

I will admit smouse ive asked for help before months ago, and id asked to soon. And googling amazes me, type a sentence in and up pops the answer, not always but most of the time you are pointed in the right direction. And yes asking for nearly half the quiz is wrong, i feel bad just asking for the odd couple. Well done on your win the other day smouse.
