Tazmac I am sorry but No 94 is the only one I have not, as yet, solved although I am not too sure on No 39 - who sang the theme tune to a TV series first broadcast on 6th April 1997 in which we meet Victor & Margaret..
I think it was Eric Idle.

sorry but I think you are thinking about one foot in the grave - aired on a much different date

Have a look at shortened versions of their names - can't remember the show but it was sung by Prefab sprout

Yes, I thought it was "One Foot in the Grave" although on reflection I think that was first broadcast before 1997.
I must confess I've never heard of Prefab Sprout - will search google tomorrow for confirmation.
Thanks anyway....still got a few to do on this quiz.
Am concentrating on other quizzes currently.
