I am using the Lie-in King's computer and have just read the messages wishing me well.
I am so touched. It means such a lot to me. He is such a good friend.
Every kind wish that you've sent me makes me feel better thank you all again.

Anne's had a great day - I made little brie & cranberry parcels (after a Tesco idea!) & sausage rolls - she & her partner enjoyed those with beer & wine & are driving back to London now - yes, safe driving rules were observed!
I'm off to see if I can answer a crossword question...

Yay! - BigDave!
Im very glad to see that the CB fiends have
Cooled their scorched throats, and washed the gory stains
From wounds whose only bandage might be chains
and allowed your release back into the community oh, hang on, that doesnt sound right or does it?! Mwahahahaha!!!
(Yes, I know the quote is out of context, but it nearly works & I only just thought of itgimme a break?)

Dave, I'm so sorry...
...It's been difficult posting these messages, as I'm well aware that lots of people are going through, or have been through the same or similar...
...Never feel bad about anything you post - to me, you're a good friend & a stalwart A'er in Q & P!!
Be well, my friend, & please accept my very best wishes to you & your family - please have a happy Xmas, & I wish you all the very best for the New Year! :-)

Hello Anne & Lie-in King
Hope all goes well with the treatment - it really does work! Seven years ago I was diagnosed with grade 3 Breast Cancer - diagnosis seemed pretty bleak, but I never believed I was ill! And I'm still hale & hearty!! My treatment was 5 months of Chemo (what a bonny wig I had), surgery , then 5 weeks of radiotherapy. It took about a year but I met such a lot of lovely people & still remain great pals with some - made me realise that every cloud does have a silver lining. Had a check up on Tuesday & thankfully all is well - follow up appointment next June. Keep a positive attitude & you will beat it.
Every good wish to you both with the treatment and the festive season. Love sister Ladymojo x
