I had QUIBBLE as the answer for "A petty complaint, once" but think this may be wrong as it doesn't fit with VIA GELLIA. Also quibble is still used so maybe the spelling is different.
Clue for this was "The A5012 road from Cromford to Grangemill - hence viyella". The "L" of QUIBBLE needs to fit with the "I" of VIA.
Hope this makes sense.
