You don't need telephone number - I won 1500 last month and didn't recieve phone call. I didn't know I'd won till I saw results in paper 2 weeks later and recieved cheque the week after .. Goooood Luuuuck
Ooh yes,I even buy two or three copies of this newspaper and I ask my brother if I can have the crossword section from his Mail on Sunday to increase my chances. He never bothers with the crossword.
Mind you, there must be thousands of entries for this crossword contest every week. So,chances of me winning must be very very slim I know, but as they say,if you are not in it you cannot win it.
I did win 250 on the Sunday Express Stardate many months ago.
As you say Robsnr,it must cost the earth buying stamps every week entering these crosswords and other contests.
I think that in the New Year I will be doing less comping.Time to save my money I think, and time to do other better things.May as well be frugal with my money.
The less comping I do on phone-ins and postal entries, the more I will save on stamps and money.
One day I might even stop doing the MOS 1500 Crossword, as I cannot seem to win on this!!
Been doing it for goodness knows how many years!!
Pah, humbug!!
NO columbus. Read it again! The phone-in is in addition. The 1,500 has to be sent to: The Bumper Prize Crossword No. 1,365, The Mail on Sunday, P.O. Box 226, Prospect Centre, Thetford IP25 6WU.
