I did find that first but it doesn't fit the clue -

Theurgy / theurgic - n. magic or miracles by the agency of good spirits

Thearchy - rule or government by a god or gods.

Jimtools, I've just checked back and seen your last posting.
'Theurgic' was the only word I could find that fitted the given letters; there is a tenuous link (supernatural or divine agency esp in human affairs) so I offered it only as a suggestion (hence the ?). 'Thearchy' (government by god or gods) is a much better answer so I hope Gillyander was confident about the 'i'.

Hi Broadbeans - I agree that is the only word that fits the letters. We have given Gillyander the options so the ball is in his/her court now. :-)))
