Hi Strix would you rattle if I shook you ?? Her name is Holly, by the way and very cute - definitely a water dog, tries swimming in the drinking bowl plus it's been over 40 here today - yuckkkk !!!

Rattle, moi?
Are you referring to the number of pills I am taking every two - four hours or fragments of bone in my leg.
"Holly" eh? should go well with a prickly Quizminder!! :))
She'll eat you out of house and home if you give her half a chance, and I am not just talking about food but furniture and furnishings as well!!

who are you calling prickly, mon ami ??
and I guess the rattling could apply in both cases !!!
I remember when I was in hospital having had Alex and the lass in the next bed had a rather unfortunate surname - Rattley - and Nurse kept referring to 'the Rattley baby' and wondering why I kept having hysterics - hormones and motherhood do strange things to women, but I guess you didn't need to know that at this hour of the morning.
an why were you grumbling earlier - you scored a point this week, so no grizzling !!
A rather quiet week this time around - no bonus points flying around en masse, just a steady ticking over of the second-hand reconditioned abacus and no fancy multipliction needed.
cliffyg was first out of the blocks [ so what else is new ??] with Missing Link, closely followed by that seekeerz person with Friend Ship.
Next to go was Thrust Stage taken out by ulysses100 and right behind him was Jools with Float Plane plus an extra one for a good guess'
Quite a few earned themselves two points in the good guess dept, namely lysander, deecee131, devadiva, crofter, Grenmus & Mr O while a further 25 entries all scored a point each.
And that wraps up this weekends scoring - there will be a short break in proceedings while I go and see what the new child has wrecked and prepare the Leader Board so if you'll all bear with me, I shall return.......bye for now.. S
The Leader Board
and it's quite a busy one but -
cliffyg is well out in front on 18 points.
on 7 points - lysander & cpfcrosiel
on 6 points - miss meg, Mr O & chriss
on 5 points - grannydi, london_lassy, Jools, Grenmus, Chiefpanda, wickedtongue, Jean G, teacher1, Elspeth, Magyar & jobjockey
I have yet to look at a calendar but I've a feeling this might be a five-week month, whatever, we're going to have to get our skates on if we're going to catch cliffyg before the month is up - so Congratulations all round and good luck to those of us in pursuit [ think we might need it !! ]
Have a good week everyone, see you next weekend S
