Guardian Sudoku

Does anyone do this every day, and if so, could you do last Thursday's? I've been stuck on it and am wasting hours going over the numbers again and again. Can't get any further. Was there a number missing in the printed grid?

My son does it every day. Usually before he goes to work.

He did mention a recent one as being really difficult but he eventually got it - not until the evening though. Maybe that was the one.

Are you talking about the moderate, the tough or the killer one? I don't remember them being particularly difficult on Thursday - the "diabolical" one on Friday is normally difficult!
