hi just joined and not sure how to get answers or how to use the answerbank properly please help ta

Well you loaded this one alright. If asking crossword clues, please give clue, number of letters and any letters you have. When people give answers and you want to give them a rating of stars, this option is beside their answer. If you want to add a written note of any kind e.g. Thanks to everyone, then do it in the same post rather than make a new one. Welcome!

Scroll down to bottom of page and read the "Tutorial" that should tell you how to go about posting on the site.

Entering a question is quite simple if you follow the instructions in the question window i.e. put in the full clue including the number and the name of the periodical it is in.
Include in your question the number of letters and any letters that you already have with a ? for the spaces. Then press the submit button and wait for an answer.
And Bob's your uncle so to speak.

If its a quiz but the actual name of the quiz - not local quiz and the exact number of the question as it appears in the quiz

Also give as the title the name of the paper/mag that the crossword comes from. You'll soon see what the accepted abbreviations are like mos, dt, rt, s/ex.
There is a crossword section in the list to the left BUT not everyone looks in it.
