A man died on March 5th 1972 and was buried on March 4th 1972. How come ?
I thought possibly,
(1) He died at sea and when the ship crossed the international date line, therefore losing a day, he was buried at sea.
or
(2) He was buried under rubble or a mine collapse and died from his injuries the next day.
Does anyone have any alternative aswers ?

1 he died on concord and his religion stated that he must be buried immediatly he was on lande ( only just poss but extremely far-fetched!
2. He was burried by mistake (ie still alive) and when realised the following day he was exhumed but just too late to save him!
sorry if wasted your time . basically i don't know, but your international date line seems good... but again there must be a reason to rush the interment.
He wasn't David Blain (or Blane) was he ?
