Has anyone else noticed that the crossword compiler for Big Monday Crossword The Daily Express has misspelt Pecksniff as there are only 9 letters available whereas Pecksniff is 10 lettters. So for 22 across) Seth......, father of Charity and Mercy in Charles Dicken' Martin Chuzzlewit(9) presume you have to spell it Pecksnif?
Look forward to hearing what you guys all think. Many thanks in advance. Warmest wishes, Bea :-)

Novalis, you are right, as just said- filled it in in the wrong line. Okay, it is in pencil so can erase it + put in the right one!! Can laugh at self. Have some dizzy brunette moments!! Still , not having slept well for a few days probably has not helped!! Agree redman41- Also glad my surname isn't that one either!! Big hugs to you Novalis and Redman41 :-) Bea :-)
Novalis, you are a big big star! Your kind words mean a great deal to me right now as very sleep deprived + in some pain yet trying to distract self from the pains. Ignore anyone who is a pain ;-) Yet, always take time to acknowledge the sweet people like your good self Novalis. Will go onto second hobby later- Cross Stitch as find this most therapeutic! Always love seeing you here Novalis, too!
Warmest wishes, Bea :-) All the lovely individuals here on AB- wish you a most excellent Monday :-)

Redman41 :-) Oh my gosh, how lovely are you, truly- a real sweetheart:-) Yes, really would love to win a prize crossword soon, also. Checked all my answers in Saturday's Telegraph- had all the crossword answers correct, too, incluiding the cryptic- have come on in leaps and bounds with the cryptics recently too! Tyrepill + Pbeach are my favourite cryptic helpers here + they have taught me much!! Even braved my nemesis- numbers- to do the Super Sudoku + hubby checked before entered + had all the grids correct- made me immmensely happy.
Sweetheart is a word that originates from Scotland incidentally- discovered this from the actress Hannah Gordon :-) Call anyone with a sweet heart, a sweetheart too!
Hope you win something soon Redman41, also, would make my heart leap for joy too! Warmest wishes, a delicate yet happy flower, Beatrice :-)

Hi Bea,
I hope you get some decent kip soon.
I just got back from double the usual walk and it was lovely but "my poor old feet "! as the copper used to say in an E Blyton book. 7 miles , phew!
We only have The Mail mon-fri, though why I don't know. It's all Liz Jones, Piers Morgan, Jane Goody and Carol Vordemann. I just turn the pages. The football is quite good mostly.
