Thanks. I was discombobulated by the wording. I saw discus as a field event NOT coming under a joint heading of "track and field".

All field event come under Track and Field- know this as a big Athletics fan :-). Did the crossword on Saturday + posted Sunday hence hesitation. Thought it was Discus on Saturday yet had to check out the fish part of the clue as did just know ( have a short term memory like the John Dory fish in Finding Nemo ;-) ) You are most welcome Borderreiver, too.
