MM and KM Link Games March [Week 1]
84 Answers
It is Friday once again and as you see, the Shrubbery is under new management for the month of March. As Rabbie once said "The best-laid plans o' mice an' men. Gang aft a-gley".
Firstly, crofter is off for a spell in the sun to recharge his batteries (solar of course) and so he has passed his abacus and control over to myself for March.
Next, a big spanner in the works - Bridgenut had to decline the setting because he also has to be away. But I know how disappointed you'd all be if the game didn't happen for a month - and so . . .
. . . the links for for March will therefore be set by a Mystery Guest who is under strict instructions to keep well clear of the shrubbery so there will be no opportunities for nobbling anyone.
My apologies for opening the Shrubbery gates a little early tonight but I am going out to my Art Club's annual Committee Dinner. Please make sure you keep the place tidy (I'll be checking back later this evening) and I don't want to return to complaints from the neighbours about noisy music - remember, some of these modern youths don't appreciate our real music.
It is a new month so the scores are reset to zero for both the KM and MM games. Both are launched in 'Quizzes & Puzzles' on Saturday morning.
The MM game is introduced at 8:45 am and the action starts at 9:00am. (Did I say 'action'? - well, more like the opening of a January sale!)
Look out for the sister game KM Links (based on the Daily Telegraph GK Crossword) which can start at a very early hour and is managed by seekeerz from down under.
The rest of this thread is now thrown open to the Shrubbery Crowd and guests.
Enjoy yourselves.

Ont-ice, my one-time prolonged visits to the Shrubbery are at the moment somewhat curtailed by various painkillers and consequently an early bedtime but before I leave you "Belle Dames sans Merci" I give you:

Strix you were on those painkillers before we went on vacation. I thought your pain would be over by now and sorry to hear that it's not. I'm watching this young lady dance and soon you'll be able to make the same moves with the legs again. So let's both get high. You take your poison and I'll take mine.
Sleep well.

Just as I was heading for the stairs I heard Mr Onty singing this refrain:

It would seems that, somehow, the Jamaican duty free has been misappropriated by someone else in the house.
Me I am off liquid painkillers (in other times it would be some sort of fermented fruit juice or a distillation from north of the border) but at present, sad to say, it comes in pill form. Next appointment with the bone man mid April.

Roll on mid April for Strix and hopefully the bone man will give him the green light and he can hop over the border for his liquid fix. Hey that almost was a rhyme.
But getting back to Kay she's being very coy about the man in her rafters.
I'll be leaving very soon to cook supper so if you've anything to say, say it not as I shall be away with the fairies.
