Does anybody know what a "main falling diagonal" is in a completed crossword. I've never heard it before.
Its nearly midnight and I cant think straight.

reduce - red + cue (amag)
nectar - trance (anag)
the main falling diagonal is a word or phrase which can be read from a completed crossword from top left corner to bottom right. The main rising diagonal would be from bottom left to top right. Have a look at this ~ page 7

can't understand why they are denied!!

all lower case ~ the first five letters are a point of the compass beginning with s
the next four letters are a point of the compass beginning with w
the last five letters are that wet stuff beginning with w and rhyming with oughta!!!

If this doesn't work - I give up! :0)
