Question Author
oh dear sprinter53. i've read several comments on this site from people, like yourself, who wonder why anyone would choose to have a go at at something that is more challenging than they are used to. well i'm sure you're a bright fellow (and sadly i'm assuming you're a bloke) but since you haven't worked this one out, the reason for trying something more difficult is to learn something. the reason for asking for help from those who know how to do it already (think of these people as teachers and you'll get my drift) is to learn something from them. you're clearly lucky enough to know everything already so never have to ask a question of anyone, but then you're never in a position to feel grateful, as i do, to more generous folk out there who are happy to help. i've never met wallacia or kayakamina or beatrice35 or any of the other people who take the time to explain the reasons for the answers but, for your information, the help that i've got from this site has meant that i can now finish the guardian crossword and, who knows, i might even be able to help someone else out. now that would something wouldn't it?
