Prize crosswords this weekend, please :-)

Would love to know along with poster Woozy what prize crosswords are available in which papers this weekend, please? Have the Telegraph today yet miffed that it is just the �200 one , no �500 GK this weekend. One poster mentioned the Financial Times yet it costs �2.30 for this paper today so unless the prizes are really good methinks that is much to pay just to do some crosswords unless the prizes are really good. Most Sundays purchase The Mail On Sunday for their prize crosswords, too. Hoping you guys can shed some light here. Many thanks in advance :-) Bea :-)

the daily record is a cracker you can get it in any bigger newsagents,(�500)sat.tues.

Live in a pretty small town- probably why never come across this paper before. Next time in a bigger town with a bigger newsagent will look out for the Daily Record, for sure! � 500 is a good prize, too! Bless you Slinky Kate- hope you have a very blessed day today too- Dios te bendiga :-) ;-)

The Sunday Mail (Scottish) also available Uk & Ireland
has 2 crosswords for �100 each

Sunday Express GK is for �1,000. in the Magazine.
In the paper there is �100 Prize Crusader crossword

You could ask your local newsagent, I have mine
on Order because here in Northern Ireland they
sell out very fast ~ possible because of all the
info about Rangers/Celtic matches.

poortony- Bless you that was most helpful. Will make some notes now for near future refrence. Try to enter as many competition puzzle prizes in puzzle magazines + newspapers( lcoal + national) as possible yet only enter prizes of �100 upwards. Yet, saying this do enter the ones for posh pens ;-) too. You are a star/estrella!

Tony has given you the answer about the Daily Record :)One of the Abbers won the Tuesday �500 a few weeks back, nice to see somebody on here winning.

Have a Scottish friend who supports Glasgow Rangers, too ;-) so guess he does buy this paper poortony!

but I find they are very slow putting their papers up.
