Hi JMR27 its just an anagram of some kind of fruit,I added the bit about the apple,pear etc,thinking it might help,and you have got orange,it could be anything

are you sure of the letters? if the "R" were a "C", it's an anagram of cooking apple

yes the letters are as given,it could be a spelling mistake,as cooking apple sounds right,look at my spelling of Anagram,just lets you see how easy a mistake can be.
