I thought of ? Pink, but Violet Rose has been suggested for this answer, when looking on the internet, it is known as Vi's Rose, please can someone explain this to me.
4. Edible Molusc made from corn (4, 6)
Crab Apple has been suggested for this answer, I understand the crab bit but I cannot make any sense out of Apple & Corn, please can someone explain.

1 All that comes to mind is Violet--as in parma violets which are sweets--perhaps the setter thinks it's palma??
