Please can I ask for help, as I go on holiday in a few days, and will need to post my entry earlier than usual. All questions relate to 1960's or the culture of that time. No "letter counts" are given by the Quiz-setter.

Hi Smouse ! I considered 2 as concerning Grace Kelly being chosen, but then not appearing in the film "Marnie", but could not "tie in" the date - 12-03 - that is, if it IS a date! Your mention of a space connection now has me intrigued.
For 37, I am going for the film "The Graduate", which is set in California i.e. Pasadena.I think that 21 is "Twiggy"and for 48 I have gone for the 1969 Top-10 Hit "I'll pick a rose for my rose". Finally, I think that 34 means the first song ever played on "TOTP" and I believe that was "I Wanna Be Your Man" by the Rolling Stones, in 1964, now the Strolling Bones !!!!!!!
