Dragonfly 4 - Results

All sheets were marked, and numbered by me, and the numbers for each category were selected at random by Crofter, who e-mailed me his randomly selected numbers.

The results are as follows�

First Prize of �20 - Mrs F A Titley, Leicester
Second Prize of �10 - John Prinner, Cumbria
Third Prize of �10 - Jane Evans, Norfolk
Fourth Prize of �10 - Adrian Wickings, Dartford

Finally...bonus prize (for all entries received) �10 - Mrs Shirley Eastman, Leicester

�530 has been raised for the Dragonfly Unit, and I really cannot thank you all enough for your support. It has been amazing, and the feedback has been terrific.

I will return all sheets, with answers explained asap.

It remains for me to say an enormous Thank You to Crofter for all his hard work, yet again. He has been amazing, compiling quizzes that have given so much pleasure, and giving all his time and effort for these children.
He is a star.

No Aquagility...about half of all entries received were all correct.
Some only missed out on one or two...and then others scored a few less.

Thanks for all the kind words of encouragement concerning Dragonfly 4. Healthwise, I don't have the manipulative skills to do the administration required to promote such a Quiz, but I still have the mental skills to conjure up such a Quiz.

Hence , it wouldn't work without the amazing "people" skills that Pauline has in abundance. Last month, I got an idea that I'm sure will work for a Dragonfly 5 ~ so watch this space. Creating a Quiz is easy. It's the creating of an enjoyable Quiz that presents the challenge!

On quite a different matter, I have selected Jools as the June MM Links Champion. She has agreed to setting the July Link words.

She has been an MM Links Champion in the distant past, but she was far and away the best player over the month of June!

Furthermore, TODAY is her BIRTHDAY!

I have tried to make sure I have thanked people for donations, and I hope I haven't missed anybody.

Well done Pauline for successfully raising so much money for such a worthy cause, and to Crofter for compiling such an enjoyable quiz. Being born, 'bread and buttered' and still living in Kent, I too spent many hours pouring over the roadmaps and 'googleing' away. I now look forward to Dragonfly 5 with eager anticipation.
