They look mostly like Daily telegraph clues to me try doing a search on here it would be quicker and easier.

Ok, thanks John. Some are Telegraph clues but really they are a variety of crosswords from many different newspapers. Dave's is a great site but doubt it will help me as some of these crosswords are quite a few years old. I never throw a crossword away til it's complete, no matter how long it takes.

Anyway, help still needed on these:

1. Weeded? (5) T _ R _ D

2. Youngster on a downward slope with old student (10) _ I _ L _ S _ E _ T

1. weeded - tared? (a tare is a weed)
Weeded is TARED - Tare being a weed.
The other one I've run through WordPro and it returns "No Match" - Sure you haven't got a letter wrong?
