Dunted?
might be duntit not certain but it is a scottish word for thumped and it sounds a bit like dented, sorry, best I can do

I'm having bother with this one too. I've looked up Scots dictionaries in print and online and in it's many senses it could be either dint or dunt.
I'm going with dunt but I'm bothered that I can't turn up any reference to knight; I'm presuming it's to do with getting a tap on the shoulder with a big heavy sword...has anybody found an online match for knight?
