10d Knight's move (chess)
11d Ebullient (24a Breathe down someone's neck)
exuberant,11d.
I am sorry you are thought too stupid to correct your mistake, perdell.
Question Author
Once agan you have been a help.I feel stupid as I had put "back" instead of "neck" I would nrver have got 10d as I am no chess player
Thank you very much and I hope you are on line tomorrow to help with the "Sundays"
Happy to help, & I'm sorry that you've had to put up with my "stalker"...

...If I offended by proffering the correct solution for 24a, then please accept my sincere apologies! :-( or :-) (?)
Your stalker, lie-in king? You flatter yourself! Care to tell, this time, why you assume questioners to be too stupid to correct their own mistakes?
lie-in king,that is not a stalker,that is a pest,who is jealous of your knowledge.
Oh goodness, wallacia! Jealous of lie-in kings knowledge? You are kidding yourself, I am afraid. Answering a few questions on here does not prove knowledge - but then I guess you think it does, don't you. Sad.
Question Author
Certainly no offence taken Lie-in king I do appreciate your help.
Lie-in King, you are a 'delight' on the board. It appears some people are not quite as philanthropic! Guess if you don't want others to be helped you should stay away from the board-an idea?
So tell me, perdell - having been given the answer to 11down, why it is assumed that you would not go back to 24 across and see if you could not get the answer now you had an extra letter? Do you like being assumed too stupid to do so, really?
catron, why it it when you come on to the ANSWERBANK you always complain about something, this is not the complainerbank or the moanerbank,it is the ANSWERBANK,to which lie-in king delivers, you deliver nothing to the ANSWERBANK apart from complaints and moans.
You are here for 24 hours a day, are you wallacia? Again I have to laugh - another who says 'always' something or another when it is plain lies. Why are you shouting?

Yes, it is AnswerBank - it is a pity that some answer questions that have not even been asked then, isn't it!
Catron - Why is it that it seems as soon as I start posting, there you are, spouting your vitriol over threads that you never contribute anything valuable to?

I can assure you that its never occurred to me to consider anybody here to be stupid or unable to correct their own mistakes - your words, not mine.

It would appear that during your daily trawl through each & every thread to find something to be picky about, you've never found anything that pleases your jaundiced eye - why stay?

I'll tell you what! I promise not to trouble you again with a response to anything you might say - please feel free to treat my posts in the same regard.

With apologies to perdell for the unnecessary traffic...
No Lie-in king, sorry, but if you have truly not considered questioners as too stupid to correct their own mistakes, why do you nearly always provide them with the answer they have got wrong? You can wrap it up any way you want but giving questioners answers they have not asked for is saying to them that you think they cannot correct their mistakes - and I will always fight this arrogance, for that is how I see it, in you and others.
I see the cat has sharpened her claws again!
Oh look, now Rollo, with nothing to say on the actual issue, has come in to the thread. ROFL.
I would rather refrain from actually giving my opinion on your behaviour.
Yes, I thought you were not as clever as to see the point I have been making Rollo!
Question Author
Oh dear I am sorry Lie in king I seem to have opened a "proper can of worms" You have always been such a help when we have needed it. and I for one really appreciate it.
