Have you tried Lisbon and Toledo that are not Spain and Portugal? There are probably others. I haven't started yet.
Colossus and Puzzle Collection do not close in the same week as you said earlier.

factor30, it is me that is asking on goggle and also the tagus would throw all my other answers completely out of the window, thank you anyway,keeping at it,,maybe come up with the answer somehow,have to scour the maps with a magnifying glass, as print is so small.:-]

It IS a wild goose chase and I've wasted 5 minutes completing a ''corner' in a puzzle I'd not started as there's nearly a month before the closing date. And I did googling and looked at atlases and checked rivers in Bradfords.
Definitely DOH and LOL.
Don't do it to me again!!!!!

factor30, l'm afraid the answer is not the one pentalpha8 wrote and it would throw all the other answers out and l have double checked with someone else and my answers to the other questions intermingled with the answer l want are correct, what a gay day,will sign off now and have another go at it tomorrow when l am more calm,will go and do some crochet,might calm me down, thank you for all your help today.

Err, pentalpha8's answer WOULD fit. She says the answer is SHOJI which fits your letters of S_O _ I. She's saying you are using the wrong clue!
