This one is a mountain. No number of letters given.

It is reported that the bad weather continued.

Can anyone advise on a couple of rivers that are giving me trouble too ?
The spring follows a hesitation we hear.....I'm not sure if this would be EMBROOK or IRWELL
It sounds like a good question...I thought TEST

Thanks for any help (Clues or answers, I'm past caring with this quiz now!)

SNOWDON = sounds like 'snowed on'

IRWELL since a well (rather than a brook) is a spring
Snowed On = Snowdon ?
Snowdon Snowed On
p.s. TEST sounds good without knowing the number of letters.

Thank you , everyone.
SNOWDON certainly sounds right and I'll go with IRWELL and TEST for the others.

Thanks, pals!
Lordalex and the son-and-heir are doing a great job looking after me, so I expect to be back bossing the ancient retainers and dealing with the revolting peasants very soon.
Love and thanks,
ladyalex :-)))
Do you think "it sounds like a good question" could be WYE
Question Author
Thanks Diane D...unfortunately I sent off the quiz before I saw your answer....which I think is better than TEST....
We'll see when I get the answers back.
