does that mean I've now lost 2 friends that won't help me any more smouse, because I really didn't think I was being rude, just trying to give an explanation why I couldn't award stars.
Oh no sorry

It was just that when I was helping someone and I said luck look they were astounded that anyone would say those 2 words the same when it seemed perfectly obvious to me

I live in Derbyshire like the setter and I am sure I am right with the answer but I am also sure it never ever entered her head that other people dont talk like we do
Hi poodledoo, if you're talking about me, of course not. I was trying to be funny, sorry, didn't meant to offend or upset. xx

yes, smouse, Nottingham lass so very similar x
My son is quite sure I would call the queen duck and is probably right
I'm from Yorkshire and luck and look certainly sound the same. Where in the country is the quiz from?

which probably explains why this yokel from "silly Suffolk" can't manage to finish this quiz, and appears to be upsetting people about their accents in the process! Thank you all for your answers, and I'll never do another homophone quiz again.
You didnt upset me for a moment

This quiz has caused me more amusement than the setter could possibly imagine

don't be mad at smouse. It's not her fault she's not from Yorkshire and so doesn't talk proper. (or even speak properly)
