K M Links Game - September week 1

Good morning everyone - what a surprise I got earlier today, finding the new look AB, but so far, so good, I haven't managed to lose anything yet !!

Today sees the start of a new contest, while ulysses100 sits on the throne, polishing his crown, the rest of us will do our very best to tip him off by the end of the month and we begin with four interesting words from this morning's crossword - just what Kate will match with them, time alone will tell, but I think there's plenty of choices to work with as they are -

PEARL
SPLIT

As always, there are no word length restrictions [ but don't forget the rules do change on MM ] and the game stays open till Sunday midnight, so plenty of time for late entries.

So Good Luck to all and I'm just going to jump the gun by a few minutes in case of errors - I'm not too sure I like this bit, no time to properly check my dyslexic typing !!! S

Steff, reading through the comments on AB Suggestions last night, many complaints have been raised about the font sizes, not having a 'Post An Answer' box at the bottom of the page and not being able to use HTML expressions to include Bold, Italics etc. The Ed/Spare Ed responded that these would be addressed after the initial problems were sorted out. As for the Mr Blobbies (Avatars)...well!!!

Thanks twix, I haven't been game to go to AB Suggestions yet, I'll bet it was runnung hot !! And they've already got problems with it ?? now why does that not surprise me !! Ok AB had it's faults but it wasn't too bad, at least on Q&P, so why fiddle - I don't look pretty in pink, for starters !!!

Thanks also, for a great month in August, I thoroughly enjoyed it though any points I scored were more flukes than anything else !!
