In what way is it unlucky? Such superstitious nonsense has no place in the 21st Century.
For the florist to leave out the feathers for the few remaining people who salute magpies and throw rocks up at aeroplanes, would hardly be fair.

Thank you I have got peacock feathers in a vase i love then, it was when a friend called yesterday she said that it was unlucky to have them in the house. I am keeping them they are beautiful. I do salute the magpie always have, i dont throw stone at plane though. lol
