Welcome to Title Builder Beta.

This small piece of kit is designed to make building your Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle question more effective. It should make finding your question easier for others and, the easier it is to find, the more likely someone is to answer it!

To build an easy to find question title simply select the paper and quiz, enter the quiz number if relevant and fill in the Publication Date. Once you’re happy click “Build Title” and the information should populate the Title field. Fill in the final required details of your question as you normally would, and click submit.

As this is a Beta we only have a limited number of papers and quizzes listed. If you think your favourite Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle should be listed here don’t hesitate to contact us.

Remember: You do not have to use the title builder - simply enter the title and question as you normally would and click submit!

Is anybody out there doing this quiz ? I have recently started but am finding it the most difficult one yet - the clues are really hard. I would be glad to hear if anyone else thinks the same !!!!! P

I'm finding lots of clues leading to the same answer.

The main problem is you don't know exactly what you are looking for at any given clue.It could be a place, a museum,a hotel, or even what they had for breakfast maybe. I make the first answer mattress ( using my cryptic clue solving genius!!) which might be one of the " very small areas"?? I have solved - maybe- 12 clues and feel it is too vague to continue with.Have located the county anyway. Only found two identical answers in that 12, but could be many more as they say there are some duplicated. Good luck!

Many thanks greenfingers and filicrat for thoughts !!! I have also got several answers the same !! I think they must have been driving around in cicles !! I think, filicrat, that maybe your first answer should be Matlock, which is where they start from !!! P

Thanks peabrain. You are doubtless right. I am disappointed though, as I felt sure they were lying in bed planning the expedition!!
