Good Evening AB Linkers, everywhere!
You may not remember, but it’s a year to the day since “Tricksy Strix-y” took to the throne of Linkland and teased you all for the entire month! This time, it should be “King James” of JimJools fame to succeed (sounds like what do budgies do? SUCK SEED) the ever-popular “Queen Christiana”. Unfortunately, previous family commitments make this impossible ~ so I need a Plan B! I have been off-line for a couple of days, so the only one I can call on at short notice is “King Krophta the Quizzical”!
Last weekend, the baby-sitting of 9-month-old “Prince Harry” went so smoothly, I couldn’t believe it! After his parents left at 6.00pm, we all played on the floor for two hours. A word of advice: Grandfathers should not get down on the floor to play with a grandchild, unless they can guarantee being able to get up again. After supper, he went down at 9.00pm and slept though until 6.10am and chatted to himself until about 7.00am before wanting to bounce about on granddad’s bed! He ignored his parents when (at 08.30am) they came to collect him (all clean, changed and fed: ready for playing again)! I call that a success! ~ Until I learned that his nappy had been put on back to front!!
