Welcome to Title Builder Beta.

This small piece of kit is designed to make building your Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle question more effective. It should make finding your question easier for others and, the easier it is to find, the more likely someone is to answer it!

To build an easy to find question title simply select the paper and quiz, enter the quiz number if relevant and fill in the Publication Date. Once you’re happy click “Build Title” and the information should populate the Title field. Fill in the final required details of your question as you normally would, and click submit.

As this is a Beta we only have a limited number of papers and quizzes listed. If you think your favourite Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle should be listed here don’t hesitate to contact us.

Remember: You do not have to use the title builder - simply enter the title and question as you normally would and click submit!

I have completed it (I think!) but there are two answers that i do not understand:
16A What could be seen as clue to eagle's descent. I have lineage but apart from the fact that descent is lineage, I do not understand the rest .
19A It's 1100 when this host brisfly appears. "Master of ceremonies" is the only answer I can think of but I have no idea why.
It's most frustrating when I can't follow the logic. Any explanations would be gratefully received. Many thanks in advance

19a 1100 = MC in roman numerals

16a eagle's could be interpreted as 'in eagle' which is an anagram of lineage (iffy but better than nothing)

16a AND 'in eagle' would be a possible cryptic clue for the answer. (sorry for not putting this in other posting)

the definition is 'descent'
the word play is I think just about o.k.; as clue is a hint, an inkling or an IN with
'could be seen' indicating anag of IN to EAGLE.
not maybe the most elegant clue but then we have seen worse.
