KM Links Game - November week 1 results
10 Answers
Good morning everyone - sorry I'm a bit on the late side, but I'm here now so down to work.
In spite of there being quite a number of options with Saturday''s links, a fair few selected the correct ones and points flew left, right and centre which hasn't been the case for some time now and as a result most people are off the mark already.
The matches were -
Hinge Joint
Onion Dome
Hare Bell
Spear Mint
and I wouldn't have been surprised if someone had selected all four, however that didn't happen but two entrants namely WICKEDTONGUE & ROSE MAYBUD both scored 6 points for three correct matches.
Those two are at the head of the Leader Board followed by a substantial group all with 3 points and they are - LYSANDER, LONDON_LASSY, TEARINGHAIR, ELSPETH, JOOLS, CLIFFYG, CHRISTIANA,
MISS MEG, JEAN G, SHAZZAHEWIT, CHRISS & LADYALEX [ to whom we say 'welcome back' you have been missed] and a further 26 members of the intrepid tribe each scored a point - as I said - lots of points !!! and a bumper crop of entries as well - it must be the winter weather coming along, it's shooed you all inside, back to AB !!
Congratulations to all after a very busy weekend - I'm sitting here with the aircon running [not funny!!]
however we shall all reconvene same time, same place, next Saturday to do it all again....cheers, Steff

Thank goodness the bus trip planned on Wednesday for our craft group has been postponed [ very sensible ] given the temp is expected to be 39d - yuck !! I was seriously thinking of giving it a miss, November's not a good month to plan anything - it's either snowing or bushfires - crazy country I live in !!

As nobody has yet answered trixilator, may I be so bold.
KM links is based on Daily Telegraph crosswords of Saturday and Monday.
We are given the clues by our friend in OZ seekeerz on Saturday morning, followed shortly by the answers and then the puzzle is to guess what the link words will be in the Monday edition.
If you log-on on Saturday sometime after 7.00a.m. all will be explained.
There is a similar competition which kicks off at 8.45a.m. called MMLinks where one of us sets the link words and we have to try to guess their answers.
It's all just a bit of fun, but can become quite addictive.
Look forward to seeing your name there trixilator!!

Thanks Steff ~ this time I'll try and remember that I've scored a point. Keep cool during your hot spell ~ do you find sitting with your feet in a bowl of cold water helps?!! :0)
trixilator ~ welcome! We shall look out for you on both the KM and MM Links games on Saturday. Also, if you are on the site on Friday evenings from 7 o'clockish, crofter opens the gates of a delightfull little place referred to (with a nod and a wink) as The Shrubbery (or even any combination of those letters) where there is a little coming together of like-minded (or otherwise) Linkers, pawing the ground and getting phsycxxxx psyhcxxxx sypchxxx ~ oh dammit, mentally prepared for the Saturday morning off!
