2. The Casino Monte Carlo
hazelb - it pains me to say it, but these have all been asked and answered already - it would have been great if you could have worked them out for yourself (or even "googled" to get the answers already given away) - it took me ages to get the last one, but I finally got there - and then they are freely given away on here! Sometimes makes me wonder why some people bother doing the quizzes when they just use other people's answers. If it was for a life changing sum of money, I could perhaps understand it, but with charity quizzes, the sums involved aren't big enough. Have a guess, leave a blank space - absolutely painless, but why ruin a great quiz.
BoysinBlue. There are other sites out there helping with quiz answers. Do you police them too? This is an answerbank and who are you to decide which questions are alright to ask and which are not.
grasscarp - firstly, please get your facts straight - use the whole of my name "boysinblue68". It has nothing to do with the police - it is football related, so I'm not the police and I'm not "policing" anything.

I do realise what a Q&P site is all about. The point I'm trying to make is why people need to cheat to get answers. In this particular instance, hazelb has clearly done no work at all, because all three have already been asked and answered on here and elsewhere. Her post, is therefore, lazy at best and in the David Ngog category at worst. These charity quizzes suffer because they are turned into a lottery simply because people ask for answers on here and the like and other people are daft enough to answer. The only poeple who suffer are the charities, because less and less people enter what amounts to a lottery. What's the harm in using your own answers to enter? - what do people gain from getting someone else to answer for them? I'm not deciding which questions are right to ask - as you put it - I'm simply voicing my opinion - or is that not allowed?
Boysinblue68. There is no need to remind me about your full name as I was not even thinking of "the police", I used the verb as in monitoring something and applying rules to it. You have not answered my questions as to whether you do put your views on any other sites or only here. The effect of asking questions on here can have quite the opposite for the charity as it gives it publicity and I have purchased quizzes which I have seen people asking on here, that I would not otherwise have known about it. If not given on here a bit of adept googling can eventually get the answers to most things so there is not that much of a challenge nowadays. I have nothing against you personally and know you have put these views across often and it must be frustrating for you as there is no way you will achieve your objective.
grasscarp - I think you need to look again at my reply. I did answer your question - as follows, "so I'm not the police and I'm not "policing" anything." Yes, I comment on other sites as well (less frequently), but as you say, it's a losing battle. I agree that publicity for the charities on here can be helpful to them, but it is also true that it can be extremely detrimental - I have seen several quizsetters say they are giving up simply because their quizzes are ruined by this site and others. As you say, most of the answers are easily obtainable by googling - all the more galling then why people have to ask on here - clearly a case that they can't be bothered to do even the slightest amount of work themselves and just wait for others to provide the answers. I've still not found anyone who can explain the satisfaction they get from using someone else's answers - for some strange reason they don't want to answer that!
Hello again boysinblue68. I have a theory about why some people post and that is the social aspect. You make contact with other people and even if we shouldnt really chat outside chatterbank you do get a reaction from other people. I am for a few days looking after a bedridden relative, and to help the day pass have been on here a lot. : o )
