updates

I know this is nothing to do with puzzles but i know we have the brains on this site (I have tried the technical site, but no response) I had the update balloon appear so I clicked on it, it took 40 minutes, how do I know what these updates are and what to do with them. Thanks lovely people

Hi carandrog,

if they are windows updates....go on to Control panel....top left you should see "windows update"....click on it.....top left under "options" , you'll see "review your update history"....click on that...and you should see what the updates were.

Alternatively, when you see the baloon appear, click on it and it should let you know what is updating, and when it is finished.
