Welcome to Title Builder Beta.

This small piece of kit is designed to make building your Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle question more effective. It should make finding your question easier for others and, the easier it is to find, the more likely someone is to answer it!

To build an easy to find question title simply select the paper and quiz, enter the quiz number if relevant and fill in the Publication Date. Once you’re happy click “Build Title” and the information should populate the Title field. Fill in the final required details of your question as you normally would, and click submit.

As this is a Beta we only have a limited number of papers and quizzes listed. If you think your favourite Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle should be listed here don’t hesitate to contact us.

Remember: You do not have to use the title builder - simply enter the title and question as you normally would and click submit!

Technical problem.
When I try to print the Times puzzles I can only print the grid(s) ... not the clues. Everything (ie grid + clues) is visible on the screen. Is anyone else experiencing this problem, or is it my computer / printer that is at fault?

I have just printed a couple of crosswords from the website to test the system for you and it was fine - I haven't had any problems so far anyway.

Thank you both for trying this out for me. Sadly it must mean that the fault is at my end.

If all else fails, maybe you could use the Print Screen key - or do a screen capture, edit it in a paint/photo editing application, and print from that. It's difficult to know where the problem might be without getting into a long-winded and probably fruitless discussion about your computer, operating system, printer etc. Though my guess would be that opening the page in a different browser and then printing it may well fix the issue.
