Good evening mamyalynne - I send my delayed apologies for missing the knitted nosh gathering last week, I went to Spain, but I caught up with the records of the proceedings!. I have brought back sangria as a tailcock alternative, I hope that will do - if not you can put the bottle in the raffle!

Have to report that lordalex is confined to bed again this week. He was trying to fix the flagpole in the upper turret and sadly slipped and fell, doing himself and the roof a dreadful mischief. I have given him his bell so that he can summon assistance as and when he needs help.

Good thinking boxtops, and it seems stravaiging is a scots term for a stroll or meander (and without his ludship too- tut) still the upper classes make their own rules.
