Well i think i have found a clue that will test the best of you.....Somewhere between Selby and Pickering it would seem there should be a place of 4 letters given as an anagram of ROBE. Must confess I cant find it.! Does anyone live there?

Between them is York - Roman name often shortened to Ebor. Could that be it?

Let us just hope that the quiz setter IS that devious and there isn't a small hamlet called Ober or something like that in the neighbourhood .
