Thought I was doing pretty well but think (know?) I have an answer in wrong place.
For 6a have bitchiness and 14a damascens but I now cannot fit anything into 6d beginning with S (6)
Help please

Thanks. Sorry meant 11d. Got thrown by tnanslating letters to numbers.
I have Indian Summer at 7d and Issachar at at 9d.

Yes, you have 7 down and 9 down correct. There are a number of different spellings for 14 across.

And I despair of people like you, 0812006. You were not asked to give the answer and you gave no chance for jenniferd to correct her mistake. You wrongly assumed that she was unable to find the right answer and that goes down as intolerable in my book.

just to settle things down. I sorted out the spelling of 14a before I saw the answer. Thanks everyone for help. Will probably be back again.
