It is 60 something years since I last studied chemistry so realise that I am just pretending to be knowledgable!!
I think it is ano, which appears in a number of organic nitrogen compounds.
The lines in -N=N- from left to right indicate the first Nitrogen atom is joined to something to its left. The double lines indicate its joinup with the second Nitrogen atom which is then linked to something else to the right.
You don't want to know in greater depth!
