The last row is:

1990 - Baywatch. (Launched).

1993 - Mr. Blobby. (Introduced).

1988 - Comic relief. (Started).

1987 - Acid house. (Music era approx started).

1999 - Posh and becks. (Get married).

2004 US Presidential election (Elephant and Donkey/Ass are the symbols of the Democrat and Republican parties)

1992 is something to do with the European Union. Perhaps its when it changed from the EEC to the EU (but you'd have to check).

Thank you sddsddean for the USA Presidential Election idea. Now all I have to do is juggle with the words to find the exact answer to fit the picture. Your reply has certainly helped me in that.

Yes, I think maybe you are also right with the EEC/EU answer.

As regards the 1982 - I am almost certain this is Michael Jackson's Thriller. . . but am struggling to find the exact words to fit the pic.

1982 is 'Body Popping' (Don't ask !!!)

 

1992 - Don't know but may involve 'Maastricht' as this was the year the treaty / treaties was/were signed officially changing the EEC to the EU.

Hi Brick. Thanks for your efforts. I have noticed that a few of them accept more than one answer. The wording is the key!

The 1992 pic is surely EEC changing to the EC (EU) after the Maastricht Treaty signing. Just looking for the exact wording.

Apart from 1992 EEC one, I can't get 94 or 95.

I've tried 'cosmetic surgery', every combination of 'implants' and 'enlargements' to no avail. (Not personally, I might add !!)

Then combat trousers / combats ??? I don't know.
