Welcome to Title Builder Beta.

This small piece of kit is designed to make building your Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle question more effective. It should make finding your question easier for others and, the easier it is to find, the more likely someone is to answer it!

To build an easy to find question title simply select the paper and quiz, enter the quiz number if relevant and fill in the Publication Date. Once you’re happy click “Build Title” and the information should populate the Title field. Fill in the final required details of your question as you normally would, and click submit.

As this is a Beta we only have a limited number of papers and quizzes listed. If you think your favourite Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle should be listed here don’t hesitate to contact us.

Remember: You do not have to use the title builder - simply enter the title and question as you normally would and click submit!

Hi- I've noticed that you regularly cram the whole question in the title box rather set out the clue /letters clearly in the Question Details box.

I find these difficult to read and I know others have made the same point. -
In your case here I can't work out where the blank letters are- i can only see either 7 spaces or 11 in total not 8. Please can you clarify the letters.

I wondered whether there was a problem with AB which prevented you getting a Question Details box to fill in- I think there may be a problem for users of certain browsers

I have copied and pasted 3-5's (confusing username on a crossword posting!) letters below and they are:
F-- --S--D-- which doesn't look like 4,4 to me, so well done for working out flipside. I thought it might be BACKSIDE
