Any decent websites found offering free quiz questions purely for personal use. everyone i've found seem intent on getting  you to  purchase. i don't mind but you do not know the level of questions until it has cost money.

A good dictionary - like Concise Oxford - will provide you with thousands without trying. Is it to compile a quiz yourself? If so, using the questions of other people may mean that you get the odd wrong one. I attended a quiz where the old duffer quizmaster asked what the name of Buddy Holly's plane was (the one he crashed in) .... the mythical answer being "American Pie". Also "What does the S in Ulysses S Grant stand for?". His answer being "nothing", as he'd got mixed up with Truman (which isn't strictly true either). You have to be careful when nicking quiz questions.....

This is the best I have found. loads and loads of stuff

Try www.funtrivia.com  there are thousands of quizzes on hundreds of different subjects. Happy quizzing.

Iain Clover aka QuizGeezer - nice to see my site advertised here - it is not the best site on the net but I like it
