p m post mortem??
Post mortem means literally "after death". A post mortem is done, of course, to establish the cause of death, but that's not what the phrase actually means...
The nearest one I can think of is o.b
obiit: he, or she, died
causa mortis (or mortis causa) means 'by reason of death', which is close... but I've not seen it abbreviated.
