Welcome to Title Builder Beta.

This small piece of kit is designed to make building your Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle question more effective. It should make finding your question easier for others and, the easier it is to find, the more likely someone is to answer it!

To build an easy to find question title simply select the paper and quiz, enter the quiz number if relevant and fill in the Publication Date. Once you’re happy click “Build Title” and the information should populate the Title field. Fill in the final required details of your question as you normally would, and click submit.

As this is a Beta we only have a limited number of papers and quizzes listed. If you think your favourite Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle should be listed here don’t hesitate to contact us.

Remember: You do not have to use the title builder - simply enter the title and question as you normally would and click submit!

Just thought you would all be interested in my Mum's recent good fortune with the You Magazine. She won £25.00 about four weeks ago (after at least 15 years of doing the crossword!) She felt that she wanted to keep entering, but with my daughter's name and address. Guess what? Three weeks later that entry won! (£25.00 for a happy granddaughter!). I can only guess at the readership and entries, but I think it is absolutely amazing that in the space of three weeks my Mum had two winning entries! .... Will it be a run of three though! That is very lucky indeed considering it's a large readership. I've been doing the Sunday Express Magazine £1000 crossword for quite a number of years and never won anything.

Well done ! I won £25 with You mag about 2 Years ago and it's the only Xword Prize I have ever won........

Hi Susan,
I know we all do this for the satisfaction of completing the crossword (or the frustration of not!) but it does beg the question of how much the postage and envelopes have cost over the years? LOL.
