9 down "Place a ruin" in Chinese (2 words) ?A?M?R?N? I have seen the answer given as SAN MARINO but I can't see why. Can anyone explain?

San Marino (place) - an (a) + mar (ruin) + in inside sino (Chinese)
It's AN MAR (a ruin) in SINO (prefix for Chinese).
