KM Links Game - August week 2 results

Good morning all - and what a difference a week makes !!! Lots and LOTS of points scored in this Game and another spectacular effort from one of the Linkers - it was only last month and she's done it again - all four correct and a large boost in points !!!
I'll not keep you in suspenders any longer - LONDON_LASSY has repeated her efforts from last month with all of the matches below -
Rust Proof
Monk Fish
Skip Jack
Zinc White
Congratulations on quite an amazing feat !!! and congrats also to TYREPILL, JOTO,
PRESCOTT, CLIFFYG, BARB7771, HANDBAGLADY, JEAN G, NABOB, MUZZ & ROSE MAYBUD - all of whom collected 6 points each for three correct matches.
Lots of people scored either 3 or 1 point respectively so most tallies are looking very healthy in these early stages and there's still two weeks to go.
As usual, I'll follow this with the Leader Board, so have a good week, all, and I'll see you back here same time, same place next Saturday, to do it all again, cheers for now, S

Hi Steff ~ I know you'll say I'm always whingeing but if I had 3 points on the LB last week and I had 1 point for Skip Jack this week, shouldn't I be on the LB with 4 points? Pretty please?!! :0)
Anyway, Well done london-lassy on your amazing feat (roll on September!!) and all the other scorers and I'll just go away and mop my tears now!!

I never said you whinged !!! well, not in my hearing but you're entitled to a good whinge right now - you should definitely be on the LB with 4 points - it says so on my score sheet - my only excuse is a dental appt yesterday which could blow anyone's mind!! however situation will be rectified next weekend - sorry, sorry, sorry - is that enough grovelling ?? my knees aren't up for this !!!
How long do you reckon the little 'wols' will stay - I reckon they're off hunting at night but they come back to roost each night - and what are we going to watch when they've gone - could we put a webcam somewhere where no-one would notice ?? !!!

Thanks Steff. Hope you've recovered from the dentist now! Yes, the little wols are now quite big but they know, so far, where home is! They come back during the day for their forty winks. I don't know what I'll do when they go - boo hoo! And I haven't seen an osprey for ages ~ have they gone? I have become a complete webcam addict! The housework has to wait! :0)
I think there'll be a few 'webcam tragics' when they all finally leave - I haven't seen too much of the ospreys lately, I fell in a bit of a heap when the 'Lady' left - I've seen 'slim' a couple of times with fish - that was last week, and I gather they haven't seen too much of the youngsters lately, just Dad so if he's still there then they must be too.
The 'wols' are hilarious - and a couple of scaredy cats to boot - they were both roosting quietly the other day when there must have been a noise outside [?] - they both jumped like they'd been shot, one fled into the nest box, the other, who was on top of the box ran backwards, looking all the time at the source of the noise, peered at it [?] for a few seconds, then followed it's mate into the box, where they were both backed up against the end where the camera is, staring at the entrance in case they were ambushed - I'm betting it wasn't Mum or Dad with food !!!
and house work ??? what's that ???

Now, that's interesting Steff ~ last week I saw a little bit of human movement below in the 'barn' during daylight and when I popped back to look in the box again the two juniors were huddled together at the back of the box just like you described. I suppose they are too young yet to just ignore people below. It is a very tidy barn so must be in use regularly.
Who mentioned house work?!!
Who mentioned house work?!!
Snap !! I reckon that's what I saw, though perhaps a few minutes before you as I didn't see 'the humans' [??] I saw the chicks in the box then logged off but something scared the whatsits out of them, poor little souls - I guess Mom and Dad just leave them to their own devices now they seem able to feed themselves.
btw, no idea who mentioned the 'h' word, it never passes my lips, that's for sure !!!
