mentioned a song called Maggie by B a Robertson.If possible please could you send
link of song. I know a song called Maggie and was just wondering if it was the same
one.

Thankyou very much for the link, Kawakiri. It is not the same song , there are
probably lots of songs called 'Maggie'. The one I was thinking of is a Scottish
folk song. I believe the comedian Jim Davidson once recorded it.

song. I'm not sure about If Foster and Allen ever recorded Maggie. I shall have a

Kawakiri's link is the correct one. The song was the theme to the BBC series of the same name: http://en.wikipedia.o...i/Maggie_(TV_series). The backing vocals are just sublime!

The Johnson and Butterfield song is completely different. It has been covered by hundreds of people - the Jim Davison version is truly horrible...
