Welcome to Title Builder Beta.

This small piece of kit is designed to make building your Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle question more effective. It should make finding your question easier for others and, the easier it is to find, the more likely someone is to answer it!

To build an easy to find question title simply select the paper and quiz, enter the quiz number if relevant and fill in the Publication Date. Once you’re happy click “Build Title” and the information should populate the Title field. Fill in the final required details of your question as you normally would, and click submit.

As this is a Beta we only have a limited number of papers and quizzes listed. If you think your favourite Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle should be listed here don’t hesitate to contact us.

Remember: You do not have to use the title builder - simply enter the title and question as you normally would and click submit!

can anyone tell me if, when sending in my crossword, do i need to send the clues as well as the answers?

I won about 5 years ago & did not send in the clues

I only send in the grid and name and address

I won twice, and on both occasions I sent both grid and clues. So I guess it doesn't matter!

I never send in the clues (because if you cut out, the paper won't fit into the envelope without folding it) I have won three times this year

I won the MoS Prize Crossword two months ago; there is no requirement to send in the clues, merely the completed crossword with your name and contact details. It is, however, vital that you complete the address on the envelope as stated per entry as it is the crossword number that is the identifier. ie, this week's £1,500 Prize Crossword is number 1,453, whereas the remainder of address remains the same each week
