Thanks bibble, i always forget about anagram and crossword solving websites.

I don't do english anymore so play a bit of scrabble to try and expand my vocabulary.

Plus I don't normally cheat at it, but I am a hundred points behind my opponant and I was sure I could make a seven letter word from those letters.

One way to expand your vocabulary is to do a challenging cryptic crossword e.g. The Times, and, when you can't finish it, wait for the solution the next day and work out why the answers are what they are, looking up definitions of any words that you haven't come across before. A crossword such as The Times will include a much wider range of words than one such as the Sun.

I'm useless at cryptic crosswords. I got a book of tims cryptic crosswords, non of the ones I did, I could compelte on my own.
